I just installed the Bomann DU 7607 G wall-mounted cooker hood and I’m having issues. The suction is much weaker than expected, it’s quite loud on the higher settings, and the lights keep flickering. Not sure if it’s a setup problem or something wrong with the unit. Anyone else dealing with this?

I’ve seen similar complaints about the noise level on this model. Double-checking the installation and making sure everything is tightly sealed usually improves it. Hope you get it sorted.

Had the same weak suction and noise issues on my DU 7607 G. Make sure the ducting is as short and straight as possible with no kinks, check that the carbon filters are correctly seated if you’re using recirculation mode, and verify the fan blades aren’t blocked. Also try resetting the controls.
