I saw a headline today about the salário hora brasil média, and it felt so out of touch with the reality of living in a major city like Dubai or even back home.
When you factor in the cost of rent and imported goods, those "average" numbers don't seem to go very far.
I’m curious to know if you all find official statistics helpful when setting your own rates, or if you just ignore them and focus on what the high-end market will bear. It seems like there's a huge gap between the "average" and the "professional" reality.
